Spanish House Style

Build your dream house by applying Spanish influence to your house design. The main characteristics of Spanish house design that make this house style become unique are wide courtyard, stucco finish and wrought iron fencing. To get the best exterior look of Spanish style, you might need to install low-pitched roofs that make the house has classic façade. After that, you need to cover the walls with stucco finish then paint it in light brown or creamy beige that will work perfectly with Spanish décor. Besides that, arched entryways also need to be built to enhance the look of Spanish style. The other important exterior elements that need to be added are balconies on the second floor, balcony railings, and wrought iron for the fences. Meanwhile for the landscaping, it is better to build a courtyard and use terra cotta as the main material. You can place benches and plants that put in pots. Those elements surely create a perfect outdoor area that lead to the front door. For the interior look, you can cover the walls with plaster and then paint it with common Spanish color scheme such as brown, white, yellow, orange or red. For the floor, you can cover it with natural tile or hardwood materials. To highlight the floor you can add rugs too.
